Three European mobile operators, including Bulgaria's Mobiltel, have responded to the European Commission criticism of missing the deadline for implementing the EU Roaming Regulation.
Bulgarian Mobiltel, Cyprus CYTAMobile and Slovenian Mobiltel informed the Commission that there had been mistakes or misunderstandings on their side when they replied to the Commission's questionnaire of July.
The Bulgarian company claims that they are offering their Eurotariff since July 23, which is within the deadline set by the commission.
Another two companies - Finish operator Elisa and Tele 2 (The Netherlands) - have sent in their answers to the Commission questionnaire of July as late as on August 6.
A first update of the Commission's "name and shame"-roaming website was made Sunday evening, listing 9 additional operators which before had not yet responded to the Commission July questionnaire, but chose to do so in the course of yesterday afternoon. These operators were Wind Italy, O2 in Slovakia, the UK and Germany, Tele 2 in Latvia, Lithuania and Sweden, T-Mobile UK and Mobitel Slovenia.
