New Gold Mask discovered in Bulgarian’s Sliven
The team of Prof. Georgi Kitov discovered a gold mask of a Thracian king in Saturday, dated to the 4th c. BC., in archeological exploration of a Thracian mound near the village of Topolchane, not far from Sliven (Southeastern Bulgaria). The first gold mask was under earthed during 2005 near Kazanlak, which made the town popular as “ town of the Thracian rulers.
