The two companies have signed a preliminary agreement for constructing a tunnel, which will pass under the Danube River.

According to the initial plans the tunnel will connect Silistra with Kulurashi.

The tunnel is expected to attract traffic from transport corridor N 9 as well as to be an alternative to corridor N4. “Eurobridge” however, will have to get the permission from the government of both countries.
