The new residential building construction in 2013 accounts on a growth of 22 %, recent data of the National Register for new buildings and reconstructions reveal. The Investment Project Ministry explains that this segment indicates a growth for the first time after 5 years. The Register has lead a statistics on every single new building since 10 years.

The highest growth shows the construction works in the Bulgarian capital city of Sofia. Its share is 28.23 % and the second place is held by the city of Bourgas. The holiday properties in Bulgaria has marked an increase by 19.35% and the residential ones – 16.74 %. Office buildings construction is also up to the mark but first of all, the residential building construction has recently reached its peak.
