Prices of Farmland in Bulgaria Up
Farmland in Bulgaria has gone up by between BGN 10 and BGN 30 per decare depending on its category.
The data comes from a private land-selling fund, the state radio reported.
Prices in the northeast of Bulgaria, where land used to be the cheapest, have also gone up but there is still a large percentage of deserted land in the area.
Larger acreages come off more expensive per acre and forecasts are that prices have yet to go up by at least 15% to 30%.
