A total number of new construction permits that were issued throughout Bulgaria in September 2007 are 4878, 3110 of them for apartment constructions, according to facts from the National Statistical Institute.
The building boom in the residential sector continues to arrear slightly behind demand for these properties, Monitor announced.
Bourgas again braked up Varna during the third quarter of the year, earning first place.  The town issued 635 permits, 534 of them were for residential constructions. Varna ranks second with 568 permits, embracing 442 for residential buildings.
Plovdiv is third (498 permits) and Sofia is fourth for new buildings (406).
