Over 200 building allow have been issued in Varna since January, said the city's chief architect Ivan Trendafilov.The ban on building in Bulgaria's Black Sea resorts was lifted October 15, unleashing a raft of new holiday developments.
Developers broke ground last week for the Del Croco luxury villa parish which will replace the Coral camping site in the northern part of the seaside city of Tsarevo. The 16.7 ha crocodile-shaped community will deliver 900 apartments. The project is being developed by Vida Tour Invest, Buena Vista, and Immoeast for a total investment of 90 million euro.
A golf resort will spring up in the surrounding of the residential complex if the investors manage to find a appropriate location with the assistance of the Tsarevo municipality. They are also looking for another 40 hectares of land for the building of a second golf resort further inland.
